Jason was still facing Patrick, so he couldn't see the tears starting to trickle out of my eyes. I knew exactly what Jason would do, and I had to prevent him from doing anything to Pat.

"YOU DON'T FUCKING LOVE HER!" I yell. "DID YOU SLEEP WITH HIM?" I ask Courtney. "FUCKING SLUT!" I shake her by her shoulders.

I stand up and growl, "What the fuck is wrong with you? Do you think she likes what you're doing? Do you think she likes the bruises you cause?" I walk over to Courtney. "Kill me, if you have to, but you're not touching her."
