I laughed a little, shaking my head. "Better at what?" I ask. I hadn't meant it in a suggestive/sexual way at all, but after I said it, I realized that's probably how he was going to take it.

I definitely wasn't expecting him to kiss me. Hell, Patrick doing anything unpredictably was just weird for me. He was usually the one that was routine and shit. Well, before Pete became part of our closest circle and made me look like Martha-fucking-Stewart. I kissed him back, moving my hand that he wasn't holding to his shoulder.
