I shut my eyes as he kissed my hand, and for the first time in my life, I felt tears forming in my eyes purely because I was happier than I could ever remember being. Life was perfect right now.

I smiled again, more to myself, realizing how fucking perfect this moment was. I didn't care if I never saw Patrick again, or if I died tonight, this moment would be the best last memory possible.
